  • Dark brown
  • Green
  • Yellow
  • Hook 2.5mm (C) hook
  • Stitch marker
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Fiberfill
  • Craft wire (0.5mm)

You’ll need one 50g ball of yarn per color.
The pattern utilizes crochet terminology that is standard in the US.
It is advisable to use a stitch marker to indicate the first stitch of each
round to help keep track.
The final size of the piece may differ depending on the yarn chosen and
your stitch tension, measuring approximately 15 cm (about 5.9 inches).

PISTIL AND PEDUNCLE (X2):
Make two identical pieces.
Use dark brown yarn for the pistil and
green yarn for the peduncle.
Row 1: 6SC in a MR (6)
Row 2: 6INC (12)
Row 3: 12SC (12)
Weave in the end and cut.

PETALS:
Use yellow yarn
Join the two pieces (the wrong sides of the pistil and the peduncle)
together. Then, insert the hook into the FLO of both pieces to crochet the
petals: [(3CH, DC, picot, 3CH) in one st, slst in next st] 12 times
Weave in the end and cut.

By the 8th petal, stuff the filling between the two pieces and continue
crocheting to close.

Use green yarn
Chain 12, start in the 3rd CH from the hook (Work on both sides of the
chain):
Row 1: Attach the wire (0.5 mm), 5DC, 3HDC, SC, 3SC in one st, SC, 3HDC,
5DC, 2CH, slst (21)Wrap green yarn around the excess wire. Cut the yarn.

Assembly
Attach the 0.5mm wire to Row 3 on the back of the flower.
Use green yarn to wrap around the wire stem. Secure the leaves onto
the wire stem and continue wrapping until the end.
The flower stem length is 10cm

Flower wrapping paper
Use light brown yarn
Chain 32, start in the 3rd CH from the hook:
Row 1-15: 30DC, 2CH, turn (30) 15 rows total
Row 16: 30DC (30)
Weave in the end and cut.
Rotate the flower wrapping paper as shown in the image, then place
the flower in the center of the wrapping sheet.
First, fold the bottom edge of the wrapping sheet, then fold both sides.

Use dark brown yarn to tie the bottom of the wrapping sheet together
and create a bow. Cut the yarn.
