NOTES

Ch1 at beginning of row doesn’t count as first st
 This pattern looks great and different on right and
wrong sides, so you can play around with it. It will be
great for scarves, blankets, hats and clothing. You can
use more than one color as well. Happy crocheting!

stitches ond abbreviations

  • st(s) – stitch(es)
  • ch – chain stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • dc – double crochet
  • sp – space

Row 1: ch a multiple of 3+1, 3dc in 5th ch from hook (ch3
counts as first dc, here and throughout), skip next 2ch, 3dc in next ch, repeat from * to last 2ch, skip next ch,
dc in last ch, turn

Row 2: ch1, sc in first dc, skip next dc, 3sc in front loop of
next dc,*skip next 2dc, 3sc in front loop of next dc *,
repeat from * to last 2sts, skip next dc, sc in top ch of ch
3, turn

Row 3: ch3, skip next sc, 3dc in back loop of next sc, skip next 2sc, 3dc in back loop of next sc, repeat from * to
last 2sts, dc in last sc, turn

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for pattern.
