This stitch looks similar to one twisted rope and you can use it in
decoration projects. It is good to make borders of hats, sweaters and
scarves. Follow these directions to make cable stitches
If you want to make one crocheted cable, you should have four
stitches on your crochet hook. For this purpose, you have to chain in
multiples of four and add three. For instance, four cables can be 16
stitches + 3 will be equal to 19. Hence, the 19 chain stitches will be
there. Now, single crochet (SC) in the second stitch from the crochet
hook and in every stitch of this chain.
Now, insert the crochet hook, from front-to-back, into the initial stitch
avoided.
Pull up one loop, sloppily (loosely), bring this loop toward top of your
final double crochet (dc) worked, and complete this double crochet
with one yarn over (YO), and over the loops
Replicate 3,4&5 steps crossways the row. Finish this row with one
double crochet in the final stitch.
Chain (ch) 1 and flip, sc (single crochet) in every stitch crossways

Replicate the steps by starting from 2nd step.
