MATERIALS ond stitch
- st(s) – stitch(es)
- ch – chain stitch
- sc – single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- sp – space
- MC – main color yarn
- CC – contrasting color yarn
Notes
Ch1 at beginning of row doesn’t count as first st
Don’t need to cut off the yarn after each row, you
carry both colors on the side and pick them up when
needed.
If working in rounds you can change color after each
round for a different pattern option.
This pattern will be great for scarves, blankets, hats
and clothing. You can use more than two colors as

front post doubl crochet ( FP DC )
Yarn over, insert hook from front to back around next
stitch, yarn over, pull through (photo 1), there will be 3
loops on your hook (photo 2), finish your front post
double crochet (FP dc) as normal dc (photo 3).

Row 1: with MC, ch a multiple of 3+1, dc in 4th ch from
hook (ch3 counts as first dc here and throughout), skip
next 2ch, 3dc in next ch, skip next 2ch, repeat from *
to last ch, 2dc in last ch, turn

Row 2: with CC, ch1, sc next 2dc,ch1, sc in next dc, FPdc around next dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * to

Row 3: with CC, ch3, skip 2sc, 3dc into next ch-1 sp,
