Color Change- Beginners Amigurumi
this video Toyuril I’ll be showing you how to do an invisible color change when working in the round we’re going to begin by making an invisible stitch so work the last Stitch according to the pattern and pull up a loop about 3 to 4 in is fine and now cut the yarn and pull the working yarn out like so now using a darning needle we’re going to skip this next Stitch and so through both Loops of this next Stitch from the front to the back and now skip this Stitch
Forming the invisible color change
again and sew through the back Loop and this little bump here and there we have our invisible stitch Now using your finger and thumb to pinch this new Stitch you can pull this tail to close it up a little to make it roughly the same size as the other stitches so you’ll notice that you can still see the original Stitch underneath the Stitch we’ve just created here’s the front Loop of our invisible stitch we’re going to do our color change in this back Loop so insert your hook into the back
Starting new color and stitch marker
Loop only pick up the new color and pull through take these tails and hold them inside now this Loop does not count as a stitch so this will be the first Stitch of our new color continue working the first few stitches of this round according to the pattern and insert a stitch marker in this first first Stitch continue with this round and I’ll show you what to do when you get back to the invisible stitch okay so you’ll notice that you can see the three Loops just here and we need to work through all
three of these loops because we haven’t secured the tiles yet you can see how it’s just a little loose but don’t worry we’ll sort that out when we get to the end of the next round so continue following the pattern not forgetting to use a stitch marker and I’ll show you how to secure the Tails now all we need to do to knen this up is pull on the tile of the original color pinch between your finger and thumb to keep it nice and flat and give it a good tug that looks better already and I do the same with the tiil
