BOTTLE COZY

Wrap yarn around index finger. Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop. Carefully slip
ring from finger and work the stitches of Rnd 1 into the ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring; join with sl st in first sc.
Gently but firmly, pull tail to tighten center of ring.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same st as joining sl st and each st around; join with sl st in first sc – you will have 12 sc

STRAP
From RS, draw up a loop of yarn in st directly above the first st of one of the 7-st wide columns of solid sc
and dc sts that run up the sides of Cozy.
Row 1: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next 6 sts.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, hdc in next 7 sts.
Rep Row 2 until Strap measures about 25 in. (63.5 cm), or desired length.
Fasten off, leaving a long yarn tail for sewing.
With yarn tail, sew end of Strap to Cozy, directly above opposite 7-st column of solid sc and dc sts.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
